About the Program

The International Conference on 4th Industrial Revolution and Beyond (IC4IR 2021) is being organized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh to be held through both physical and virtual online formats from 10 & 11 December 2021. On the 100th Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation of Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and 50th anniversary of independence of the country, the University Grant Commission (UGC) is planning to create a premier international forum for bringing together researchers and practitioners from diverse domains to share cutting-edge research results obtained through the application of artificial intelligence, the internet of things, data analytics, and cloud computing to solve problems in the industrial domain. IC4IR 2021 also promotes the sharing and dissemination of innovative and practical development of methodologies and technologies with industrial applications through the exchange and dissemination of best practices. The scope of the conference includes gathering of the ideas which can support making Bangladesh a smart country with smart citizens; utilizing best of the technologies available; solving real problems and enhancing lives and environment for our generations to come. The idea will be judged with the utilization of the 4IR technologies, such as: Cloud, Block Chain, IoT, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning/Deep Learning/Reinforcement Learning, Data Analytics. The ideas should cover the full lifecycle, consisting of Architecture, Operations, Applications, Security, and Optimization.

Judging Criteria

Absolute Unique concept – The Concept is Unique, I never could imagine; and I don’t think anyone could have imagined – 20

Clarity of the concept – The idea is unique, implementation is unique, but I have seen or heard the somewhere similar concept, I have not experienced any implementation – 10

Unique Implementation – The idea has been there for the public domain, but the implementation is Unique – 5

Public Domain Application – Concept, Idea & Implementation is available in the public domain - 1

Answer: No. Only Press Release (PR/FAQ) as shown in the participants’ guidelines.
Answer: 3~7 members, including at least one member from Academia.
Answer: You can submit your initial proposal in Bangla/English.
Answer: Yes. Anyone from Bangladeshi citizen. NRB also participates with a team, but the team leader should be a Bangladeshi citizen.
